Taskmaster fans were left scarred by Mathew Baynton's "unhinged" and "horrifying" act in one task, dubbing it "absolutely foul".

The latest episode of the Channel 4 series, titled 'Glass Half Most', delivered a task in which the five contestants were required to eat yoghurt in either the most or least "dignified" way, with the requirement being to navigate their desired route in "extreme" fashion.

Baynton opted to go down the 'least desirable' path, and made good on the task's requirement as he proceeded to lick yoghurt from Alex Horne's shoes while wearing only his underwear, with a crew of bystanders filming him to complete the "humiliation".

"Please forgive me Daddy, I've got your shoes all mucky," he said while pretending to cry, before swiftly breaking character as he asked Horne: "Something like that?" The co-host replied nonchalantly, quipping: "Yeah, that was lovely. Thank you Mathew. Very nice."

Fellow host Greg Davies remarked that the 'Daddy' line was the "stand-out" moment from the task, with Baynton adding: "There aren't enough points in the world that could have made that worthwhile for the cost it's going to have."

"MATHEW BAYNTON WHAT ON EARTH #Taskmaster" remarked one fan, with another expressing positivity towards the comedian as they said they "loved him more and more with each passing week".

Baynton eventually went on to finish in first place during the episode, making it the fourth occasion he has triumphed across the seven instalments thus far. He looks nailed on for victory in the season, with only three episodes left to air.

Taskmaster will return with season 19 soon, airing and streaming on Channel 4.
