The 19th season of Taskmaster has just landed a new streaming home in the UK. Branded "one of the best" in the show's history, the season was added to Netflix today, allowing fans with a subscription to stream some unique challenges.

The show follows hosts Greg Davies and Alex Horne as they pit five comedians and celebrities against each other in "ludicrous competitions that result in hilarity and humiliation".

The 19th season, which originally aired in 2025, starred Mathew Baynton, Jason Mantzoukas, Stevie Martin, Fatiha El-Ghorri and Rosie Ramsey. Ghosts and Horrible Histories actor Baynton was eventually crowned champion, in a hotly-contested battle.

The competition was lauded by fans, with one person writing on X: "How is it the #taskmaster final already? Been one of the best series, right up there with series 5 with Bob Mortimer and Aisling Bea."

"Sad that this series of #Taskmaster is over - it's been one of my absolute favourites. Mat Baynton & Jason Mantzoukas in particular," wrote another, while one opined that that Baynton was the "perfect winner" from a "brilliant" season.

Following his victory, Baynton opened up about his experience on the Channel 4 series, telling Metro: "I'm just really happy. I was having so much fun. I did start thinking, 'oh, it would be really nice [to win]' because winning means a repeat of the experience."

"The number one thing about winning is thinking, 'Oh, great, I get to go back'. I guess the only sadness about getting to go back is that I won't be sat with those guys," he said of his fellow contestants, who he called "so much fun".

Baynton did get to return to the show for the fourth edition of Champion of Champions, which pits past victors against each other. In this special, he battled Andy Zaltzman, John Robins, Maisie Adam and Sam Campbell.

The latest season, the 21st overall, aired in April, with the cast consisting of Joanna Page, Amy Gledhill, Armando Iannucci, Joel Dommett and Kumail Nanjiani.

Taskmaster airs and streams on Channel 4.
