The Traitors season 3 spoilers follow.
Season 3 of The Traitors has teased a dramatic twist for its next episode in a cliffhanger segment, suggesting that some players might be returning to the show.
Following tonight's (January 3) gripping episode, which saw one Traitor throw another Traitor under the bus and a contestant betray her own sister, fans were treated to a mysterious clip of a horse and carriage.
After remaining Traitors Linda and Minah made up their mind on who to murder, which will be revealed in the next episode on Wednesday, January 8, the camera panned to a message that read: " A few miles away."

In the clip, which was accompanied by foreboding music, a horse and carriage with the sign "rail replacement" was shown heading to the castle.

Pictured driving the carriage were two masked and cloaked characters, but the cargo was not shown, suggesting the three players who left the train in a twist during episode one might be within.
Fans of the show will remember that the first episode of the hit BBC reality series, which premiered on January 1, delivered some massive twists before contestants had even got to the castle.

After joining the steam train that delivers them to the castle each year, 25 players were left baffled when the train journey came to a halt.
Over the tannoy, host Claudia Winkleman explained to the players that only 22 spaces were available at the castle and one contestant per carriage must give up their place at the castle.
With just ten minutes to decide who would leave, contestants were given the opportunity to bank £10,000 with £1,000 being deducted from the total with every minute they spent deciding.
Those to leave their respective carriages were Fozia, Jack and former diplomat Alexander, who all gambled their positions in the show after suspecting the move might be part of a greater twist - we'll have to wait until Wednesday to find out.
The Traitors airs on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
