Ghosts star Kiell Smith-Bynoe has revealed an unlikely connection to Big Brother 2024 star Marcello Spooks.
After making its grand return to our screens last year, ITV reality show Big Brother returned this weekend with a fresh batch of housemates entering the famed house.
They've already been taking time to get to know each other as well as embarking on their first task and nominating their fellow housemates for the first eviction of the series.
While there have been surprises in the Big Brother house, there have been surprises outside, too, as Great British Sewing Bee host Kiell shared his connection to housemate Marcello.

Speaking on an episode of the spinoff show Big Brother: Late & Live alongside Celebrity Big Brother winner David Potts and Big Brother 2023 runner-up Olivia Young, the group discussed the "laddish" behaviour of the boys in the house.

After host AJ Odudu said Marcello comes across as the most laddish of the men in the house, Kiell said that he has known Marcello for a long time.
"We're from the same area, so I've known him from when we were younger and from when I used to do music. He used to do music and still does, so I've known him a long time."
However, he did say it was a surprise that Marcello had signed up for Big Brother.

"He's being himself, he's trying not to be too 'girls, girls, girls', and you saw that in the Diary Room when he had a little chat but then he couldn't help himself," he continued.
When AJ asked if he was always "girls, girls, girls" and "had game" when Kiell knew him, he responded jokingly: "I didn't know poached eggs was his technique", referring to an x-rated conversation he had in the house about his time as a chef and seducing women.
"He's always been around the girls" he added, but the audience disagreed with one attendee saying his demeanour seemed "fake" and "slimy."
It's not the only starry connection a housemate has, with Big Brother fans unearthing a clip of Emma Morgan on Coronation Street.
Viewers of the show found a clip of Emma starring as a nurse in the ITV soap, while it has also been reported that she has appeared in Emmerdale and, in the 1990s, worked as a glamour model.
