Big Brother fans have unearthed footage of new housemate Emma Morgan on Coronation Street.

The star entered the house during last weekend's launch show and has already proved herself to be a fan favourite.

Viewers have now shared their delight after finding unearthed footage of Emma appearing as a nurse on Coronation Street a few years ago.

The star has also reportedly appeared in Emmerdale, and worked as a glamour model in the 1990s.

“Obsessed with the fact that Emma from Big Brother is a former Page 3 model who's played a nurse in Coronation Street not once but twice #BBUK,” one fan wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Meanwhile, on last night’s episode of Big Brother Emma cracked a dark joke after not being selected by Martha to join as a housemate in a task.

"F**k the old woman, I'll die on the mattress," she said, with fans sharing their reactions on social media.

"Emma is going to be the comedy empress this #BBUK series and I'm so here for it," one wrote, while another added: "Lmaoooo Emma's first moment of the episode and she has me roaring."

Speaking ahead of her stint on Big Brother, Emma said: "I keep having these 'pinch me' moments and a huge 'pinch me' moment and something I'm really looking forward to is being inside the Big Brother house – all those 'pinch me' moments like getting out of the car to the crowd."

She added: "The whole experience is one in a million – to get this opportunity at my age when I thought all the excitement in my life has probably already happened.

"The biggest thing in my life has hit me and I wasn’t expecting that. I was getting ready to put my feet up and do a bit of knitting."
