Davina McCall's dating show My Mum, Your Dad has officially wrapped its second series and the show's finale wasn't the only thing that was official.
After a promising start under the careful guidance of their children Angharad and Tiana, steady couple Vicky and David made it to the end.
They were among two couples to make it to the finale following the show's shocking decision to axe the contestants who failed to make a romantic connection.
Vicky and David as well as Jenny and Danny made it through the experience while on the show, making things official, but there were definitely doubts over whether or not Vicky and David could go the distance once the cameras stopped rolling.

Vicky and David hit it off immediately with their first date teeming with romantic vibes. It was Vicky's daughter Angharad who spotted something special between the pair and suggested they date.

When speaking to David's daughter Tiana, Angharad admitted she was keen to see the pair explore things when she said: "I think maybe they need the opportunity to actually see if there is something there because my mum said that she did really enjoy her chat with your dad yesterday."
Sparks ignited between Vicky and David on their not-so-private dance lesson, on which their children spied to oversee and puppeteer the direction of things. It worked out, as the two developed a strong connection going forward.
By the time of the finale the couple were somewhat steady as they headed into their final date.
The scenes were romantic, with a hot-air-balloon ride continuing on to a picnic, yet some voiced concerns over David's feelings and his ability to convey them.
In regards to this, Angharad shared with Vicky: "There are times where you've wanted more and he hasn't given it to you."
She also confronted David about it, but he was quick to make it clear that Vicky had won him over.
"I get tingly when I'm near her, I feel like a teenager," he said of his feelings towards her. The question is, have those feelings lasted?

Yes, Vicky and David from My Mum, Your Dad are still together. At the end of the show, a relationship update was given from two months after they left, confirming their relationship status.
"I'm glad that she's pushing dad out of his comfort zone, even if he doesn't want to admit that he's nervous," Tiana said in response to their zip-lining activity, while Angharad teased: "I'm so glad you've got somebody to do these things with and we don't have to do them with you anymore."
A statement from Tiana at the end also read: "My dad opens up way more now with me and in relationships. I'm really proud of him."
Angharad commented: "My mum has done so well. She's overcome some challenges with David in the retreat and built a strong connection that they are continuing to grow in the outside world."
