Love Island spoilers follow.
Love Island viewers were left fuming after a shock elimination twist.
Tonight's (July 26) episode saw the five remaining couples cement their connections following yesterday's date night, which saw the Islanders get some alone time with their partners.
The romantic dates saw Joey and Jessy take the next step in their relationship, as they became exclusive, while Sean pampered Matilda with a prepared platter of sweets.
After a competitive sports day, which saw Nicole's team reign supreme, the group received an unexpected text. "No way," said a shocked Ciaran.

The message read: "Islanders, tonight each couple must vote for the two couples who they think are the least compatible; those who receive a vote risk being dumped from the island.
"You must now discuss in your couples who you're going to choose and then submit your decision by text. You must not discuss your decision with anyone else."
Viewers quickly took to X (formerly Twitter) to share their thoughts on the shock vote, with one writing: "I acc can't predict who's going home."
Others hoped that fan-favourite couple Mimii and Josh wouldn't receive any votes, with one fan commenting: "I hope Mimii is not going anywhere I will be so mad tbh."
"Mimii and Josh can't get the most votes they just can't," another added.

After a tense deliberation, Joey and Jessy, Ayo and Jess, Sean and Matilda, and Josh and Mimii were all left vulnerable after receiving at least one vote from their castmates.
A teaser clip then saw previous Islanders returning to the villa, with the group likely to decide which couple gets dumped. Viewers were quick to share their disappointment at not being able to save their favourite couples.
"Loool they're letting the dumped islanders pick," wrote one fan, with another adding: "Why do the past islanders get to decide."
A third shared their excitement at the twist: "HAHAHAHHHAHAH THIS IS THE BEST PLOT TWIST!" while a fourth said: "Sunday might be a really interesting episode."
Just days before the grand finale, which couple will fall at the last hurdle?
