Strictly Come Dancing star Layton Williams has shared a sweet birthday tribute to his mystery boyfriend.

The Bad Education actor marked his significant other's birthday on Instagram on November 27 with photos from their time together.

"Birthday boy," read the post caption. "How it started vs How it's going."

In a further Instagram story, Layton confirmed the couple's relationship but revealed he wasn't sharing the name of his boyfriend anytime soon.

"Happy birthday to my fave! #HardLaunch but no @ coz ya'll are too (nose emoji)'y," read the caption, alongside another photo of the couple walking down the street together.

An additional photo saw Layton and his partner enjoying a Thai takeaway together as part of the birthday celebrations.

Last Sunday's results show (November 26) marked Layton and his professional partner Nikita's first time in the dance-off, alongside TV presenter Angela Scanlon and Carlos Gu.

The couple performed their American Smooth to 'It's Oh So Quiet' by Björk for a second time and impressed judges, with Craig Revel-Horwood, Anton du Beke and Shirley Ballas voting to send through Layton and Nikita.

As a result, Angela and Carlos were eliminated from the competition ahead of this week's quarter finals.

Five couples now remain in the competition and will battle it out for a place in next weekend's semi-final this Saturday.

Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays and Sundays on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.

Tickets for Strictly's 2024 live arena tour are available now.
