We've all now suffered our first Strictly Come Dancing elimination of the series and it was pretty painful, with former Holby City star Chizzy Akudolu getting the boot.

Alongside her professional dance partner Pasha Kovalev, Chizzy faced off against Brian Conley and Amy Dowden and once again performed her Foxtrot to Peggy Lee's 'I'm a Woman'.

Craig Revel Horwood was the only judge who voted to save the pair, with the rest favouring Brian's Cha Cha Cha.

Chizzy was really emotional as she said goodbye to everyone, but promised to keep dancing, and she also revealed that she was planning to do IT for movie week. Gutted.

Viewers were just as saddened about the judges' decision and thought she was basically robbed.

Let's face it, Chizzy was nowhere near the worst performer this weekend, but the first week is always a bit of a weird one and it's never really clear who'll end up getting cut.

Chizzy's elimination leaves 14 celebrities and their professional dance partners to return next week for the first theme week of the series – yup, Movie Week is back.

Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday, October 7 on BBC One, with the results show following on Sunday, October 8.
