Awards season is well and truly underway, with the National Television Awards taking place tonight (January 25) and a whole host of other star-studded events happening over the next few weeks, ensuring the black suit and tie industry is kept afloat.

The Grammys is one of our favourites, because of all that glitz and sheen you get with American award shows (although we love the always disasterific BRIT awards too).

4music is showing the Grammys this year, and will broadcast the event on February 13 at 8pm, which is perfect if you've got no plans for Valentine's Day and think a wine-induced hangover is the best way to avoid all the mushy happy stuff that gets thrown in your face every year.

James Corden is hosting the event, and it's just been announced that Bruno Mars will join the lineup of performers - we wonder if James will join him on stage for a little Carpool Karaoke reprisal.

Also performing at the Grammys are: Adele, John Legend, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban and a little-known band called Metallica.

Adele is up for a total of five awards this year after her 2015 album 25 missed out last year awards because of its release date. Let's hope James Corden doesn't try to cut off her winner's speech like he did during the 2012 Brit Awards.

If you don't live in the UK, or are lucky enough to be on holiday in the States during February, then you can watch the awards on CBS on Sunday, February 12.
