Jude Bellingham is one of the big breakout stars of the 2026 World Cup, with the midfielder earning back-to-back Man of the Match accolades and leading England to victory (so far) alongside his teammates including Marcus Rashford and Harry Kane.

But it looks like he's got aspirations beyond football, by being part of another English cultural titan.

Speaking to James Corden on the Fox Sports show After Hours, Bellingham said he'd love to be the next 007.

He said: "I'd love to be in a movie. People always ask me, 'What's the thing I'd want to do out of football?'

"And I never really give it that much thought, but when I have, I always come to 'I'd love to be in a film'. I'd love to be James Bond.

When Corden pointed out a new Bond is yet to be confirmed, he got Bellingham to do the classic line "The name’s Bond, James Bond" to camera.

Afterwards, the footballer joked, "I think I’ve got a shot!" before doing the famous "You can't handle the truth!" scene from A Few Good Men.

The two also talked about the nature of celebrity, something that there's been a lot of chatter about lately.

Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy, TV presenter and former WAG Lizzie Cundy predicated that Bellingham and his other half Ashlyn Castro will be huge celebs outside of football, similar to the Beckhams or now ex-couple Cheryl and Ashley Cole from back in the day.

"He'll be getting the top brand deals from the coolest people in Hollywood," she told us. "They will be huge stars. I can see it."
