The Electrical Life of Louis Wain stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Claire Foy are set to reunite in a children's classic adaptation coming to Channel 4. Based on Judith Kerr's iconic Mog picture books, Mog's Bad Thing will see Sherlock star Cumberbatch reprise his role as Mr Thomas opposite The Crown's Foy as Mrs Thomas.
The cast, who previously appeared together in Mog's Christmas, also includes Adjoa Andoh as the narrator, Amelie Law as Debbie, and Teddy Skelton as Nicky. A release date for the animated special has yet to be announced.
Newcomers to the cast include John Thomson as Mr Bunce, Katherine Parkinson as Mrs Ramsbottom, Mawaan Rizwan as Ali, and Amelia Theodorou as Amy.

A synopsis, per Variety, reads: "The family are hosting a cat show in their garden which should be Mog’s chance to shine, but in all the excitement she does a 'bad thing' which means she hides in the attic feeling sorry for herself and misses the start of the show.
"Can Mog find a way to leave her hiding place, make her family proud and save the day?"
