A new gritty '70s-set crime series has jumped up Prime Video's UK trending chart. Raakh only dropped on the streamer last week, but has already proved hugely popular.
The Hindi-language series focuses on a "haunting crime investigation" that kicks off "with the disappearance and murder of two teenagers in Delhi".
"Set in 1978, when such brutality was rare and shocking, the series follows the relentless manhunt launched to track down the killers while exploring the disturbing psyche of the men behind the crime," the synopsis adds.

Critical reception has also been very strong. On Rotten Tomatoes, Raakh has earned a perfect 100% score based on five reviews.
Filmfare called it "a genuine horror show" and "absolutely, devastatingly brilliant", adding: "It arrives as a procedural, operates as a thriller and lands as horror. The transition across all three is so seamless that you barely notice it happening until the show already has you."
Scroll.in wrote: "A tale of depravity and urban horror is packaged through rich production values, stellar cinematography by Saumyananda Sahi and some excellent performances."
Firstpost added: "What works in Raakh is how it combines the talent of today with the tenacity of yesterday. And the contrasting experience off screen blends nicely with the characters on the screen."
Raakh is streaming now on Prime Video.
