It's the news This City Is Ours fans have been eagerly anticipating for the last 12 months since the BBC announced its renewal: when is the second season coming?
A 17-second teaser of the critically lauded drama shows some of the show's major characters Michael (James Nelson-Joyce) and Diana (Hannah Onslow) in Spain enjoying the high life before they are pulled in to answer questions around Ricardo’s death.
Soundtracked to 'I've Gotta Be Me' by Paul Anka, the tension builds and the Spanish sunshine is eclipsed by darkness with a voice saying over the music: "This is just the beginning... for you - a nightmare."

What to Read Next
The drama is getting some exciting new faces. These include Shaun Evans (Betrayal) as former gangster Ozzie Thompson and Álvaro Morte (The Wheel of Time) as Felipe Guzman, a member of the Colombian cartel and the younger brother of Ricardo, who was murdered at the end of season 1.
Ronnie was played by Sean Bean in season 1, but was killed off early in the show's run. However, his widow is also out for revenge.
The official synopsis for the new episodes reads: "Picking up from where things were left at the end of series 1, Michael and Diana have barely arrived in Spain when they are dragged back into the fold to answer questions around Ricardo’s death.
"Back in Liverpool, tensions continue to bubble amongst the remaining members of the gang. Meanwhile, an old school gangster from Ronnie's era, recently out of prison, wants compensation from the firm."
The first season was a big hit, becoming the most-watched new drama launch of the year so far and attracting an average of 5.8 million viewers. The first episode has drawn more than 7.8 million viewers to date, more than tripling its initial overnight figure of 1.9 million.
This City Is Ours will return to BBC iPlayer and BBC One later this year.
