Stanley Tucci is embarking on another culinary odyssey, only this time it will be closer to home. It was announced today that The Devil Wears Prada 2 star will be fronting a new British spin-off to his successful culinary show, Tucci in Italy, which saw him experience the food in several Italian regions.

Titled Tucci in Great Britain, the new Nat Geo show will see the actor traverse around the UK, where he has called home for the past decade to see what the country has to offer in terms of its cuisine.

The logline reads: "From the rugged Highlands to the storied coastlines, Tucci unlocks the distinct – and often surprising – flavors that define each region."

Meanwhile, Elias Tanner, SVP of Strategy & Growth at OBB, said Tucci in Italy "set the bar for how food storytelling can drive culture" and that they are "thrilled" to explore "the often misunderstood yet truly rich food culture of Great Britain, and how it has been uniquely shaped by its history and people".

In 2021, Tucci took part in the BBC Italian culinary show Tucci: Searching for Italy where he travelled across the country to discover the history of its regional cuisines, taking him from the picturesque views of the Amalfi Coast to the historical centre of Rome.

He has also authored two cookbooks inspired by his Italian heritage, including The Tucci Table and The Tucci Cookbook: Family, Friends and Food.

Tucci in Italy is available to stream on Disney+.
