Katie Price has finally made contact with her missing husband, Lee Andrews, two weeks after he vanished in Dubai, revealing his unknown whereabouts with some harsh words.

In a bombshell interview, the former glamour model and reality star said she had a short but emotional two-minute long telephone call with Lee, who she says has been arrested on suspicion of spying.

Complimenting herself on her 'detective skills', Katie said she tracked Lee down to a notorious prison, dubbed the 'Dubai Alcatraz', adding that she bluntly told Lee in their tense call he was the "most hated man in Britain" and that "everyone thinks this is a scam".

She has vowed to continue standing by him despite reports accusing him of being a conman, claims which Andrews has strongly denied.

Speaking on her podcast, an overjoyed Katie announced: "Today was the day, which is why I'm happy, Lee has been found. Alive. Woop... All I know is that they thought he was a spy, so he was interrogated."

Katie’s contact with her missing husband came after his dad Peter texted her to explain his whereabouts.

She said: “I have found him. He is alive, and he is OK. I told him how worried I had been and told him I loved him.

“It was very rushed, but he said the authorities out there thought he was a spy. I don’t know much more than that right now.”

Lee, who lives full-time in Dubai, is believed to have been arrested on 14 May. Katie explained she questioned Lee about reports he had been active on his phone during his time in jail, saying: "He hasn't been on his phone. He hasn't had his phone. He's been interrogated. They've gone through his phone, so they've been mucking about on his phone. It's not been Lee. He hasn't got his phone."

The jail has been repeatedly criticised by human rights groups due to the grim conditions, and its famous inmates include Irish gangster Daniel Kinahan, boss of the Kinahan Cartel, who was arrested in April.

During her podcast, Katie told her less-than-impressed younger sister Sophie, who let out an audible sigh when Katie mentioned her husband, that she has demanded Lee do a sit-down interview.

She said: "The years and that money I've spent on therapy has worked. It's been put to the test and it's worked. Because I've had a shit ten days anyway and triggers, triggers, triggers and situations, and I've just realised because I learned in therapy, what's out of my control there's nothing I can do. What will be will be. The situations are in the hands they need to be."

During their call, Lee asked Katie if she believed he was dead. He had not contacted his wife for exactly two weeks before their brief call on Wednesday. She explained that the thought had been going through her mind in the two weeks of radio silence.

Katie has said Lee must now tell all and clear his name - both to herself and the British public. He is due for release on Monday, but must pay a four-figure fine.

In the days before Lee’s arrest, he had moved belongings out of his rental apartment and had moved in briefly with his father, staying in his run-down villa.

It is not known where he disappeared to after this, and his family filed a missing person’s report at the British embassy in Dubai.

Mum-of-five Katie and Lee wed in Dubai in January, days after meeting in person for the first time. He is said to be subject to a travel ban there, following imprisonment for fraud last October.

Lee has been exposed for faking his CV, claiming he had worked for the King’s Trust and had a doctorate from Cambridge University.

The drama started earlier this month when Lee was due to fly to the UK for an interview with Katie on ITV’s Good Morning Britain.

Panicked Katie raised the alarm on 13 May, telling fans Lee had been tied up, put in a van and taken to a “black site” after being “arrested”.
