ITV has unveiled a first look at the new season of sitcom G'wed. The Liverpool-set series follows the lives of a group of teenagers, with the third season set to premiere soon.
A trailer has now dropped giving fans a taste of the antics to come, including a first look at new cast addition Jennifer Ellison (Brookside), who takes on the role of Aimee's (Amber Harrison) mum Anna as she "turns her world upside down".
The broadcaster has further teased that the new episodes will be "funnier and bolder than ever", spotlighting "powerful and thought-provoking themes from the refugee crisis to women in sport and one of the series’ returning characters managing life with OCD".

What to Read Next
"It is great to see that G'wed has resonated with our audiences across ITVX, ITV1 and ITV2!" said ITV's head of comedy Nana Hughes at the time. "[Creator] Danny Kenny's writing had us crying with laughter one second, crying real tears the next and then back to laughter."
The show has quickly won fans, one on IMDb calling it "brilliant" and a "great little programme", adding: "Scouser here myself and the cast really pulled this off. Boss little actors especially Reece and his mum.
"I mean they're all great actors. Hilarious at times and also emotional at times. I am absolutely buzzing that there is a scouse comedy out there like this."
Another added: "It takes on a lot of controversial subjects but in a warm, funny and truthful way. It is about time we saw more comedies like this, ones that are unafraid, too many UK sitcoms play it safe in my opinion and end up being middle of the road."
G'wed seasons 1-2 are streaming now on ITVX. Season 3 is coming soon.
