Stephen Graham has just been nominated for a BAFTA for his role in the incredible Adolescence, which has been sweeping awards season (the show dominated the 2026 BAFTA TV nominees, leading with 11 nominations in total).
But believe it or not, the 2025 Netflix breakout hit (which we previously named one of the best of the year in our five-star review) isn't even currently Graham's highest-rated TV show on Rotten Tomatoes, with that spot going to Boiling Point.
The BBC's four-part series, which was a continuation of the 2019 single-shot film (yes, the same director – Philip Barantini – that would later put those signature camera skills to use in Adolescence alongside Graham), stands with a perfect 100% score on the review site.

The drama first aired in 2023 and is available as a full box set on BBC iPlayer, so if you're looking to experience another stellar Stephen Graham performance, we highly recommend you give this one a watch.
The opening episode of the Boiling Point TV series picks up around nine months after the events of the film, answering a particularly burning question left behind by its dramatic ending.
What to Read Next
Stephen Graham plays the character of Andy Jones, who was at one time a head chef juggling a bustling London restaurant while also battling some personal struggles. An alcohol addiction had contributed to the breakdown of his family, separating him from his wife and son, and it also started to seep into his ability to show up at work.
As a result, his working relationships –particularly with sous-chef Carly (Vinette Robinson) and Freeman (Ray Panthaki) – started to suffer too, and it all reached a boiling point (ahem) at the end of the feature film.
Stephen Graham's wife, herself also a brilliant actor, Hannah Walters also stars as Emily, the pastry chef in the new restaurant. The pair have previously also worked together in roles on other TV projects, including Adolescence, A Thousand Blows and This Is England.
The returning cast for Boiling Point also includes Izuka Hoyle (Big Boys), Daniel Larkai (Malpractice), Stephen McMillan (Toxic Town) and Hannah Traylen (Ridley Road).
Boiling Point's TV continuation received a lot of praise from critics at the time. Daily Telegraph, who awarded five stars, called it "a ferociously good four-part drama series..."
Empire said: "If the series occasionally feels almost too stressful to enjoy, that's a testament to just how realistic it is", meanwhile Irish Independent wrote: "Boiling Point the series is worth every stomach-clenching, nail-biting moment of your time."
So if you haven't already, this is your sign to give it a go.
Boiling Point aired on BBC One and is now on BBC iPlayer.
