Channel 4 has released a first look at its upcoming drama Tip Toe starring Alan Cumming and David Morrissey. Described as "captivating", the series follows two neighbours who "become deadly enemies" as the world they live in becomes "more tense".

Cummings plays Leo, who is described as the "vivid, funny and dynamic" owner of a bar in Manchester’s Gay Village, while Morrissey plays his "unsmiling and troubled" neighbour of 15 years.

Created by Doctor Who's Russell T Davies, the official synopsis reads: "Leo and Clive have lived next door to each other in Manchester for almost 15 years. But just as life should be settling down, the world around them is growing more tense.

"Words become weapons, opinions become radicalised, and gradually, two neighbours become deadly enemies in a tense, suburban thriller which challenges everything we consider to be safe."

While we've already seen some snaps of the lead stars filming on location in Manchester, the official images give us an upsetting look at Morrissey's character holding Cumming's character up against the wall.
