There were rumours of a mole in the Strictly audience (or team) on Sunday leaking the results. At the bottom of the leader board were GMB's entertainment editor Ross King and the humourous Apprentice star Thomas Skinner, leaving them the most likely candidates to go out in the result show that started at 7.15pm on BBC1.
The shock annoucement on Saturday that the power of the panel was coming in to play - Shirley Ballas, former best magazine columnist Craig Revel-Horwood, Anton Du Beke and Motsi Mabuse would all be taking a turn as Head Judge - left viewers questioning who might go out. But much to his own surprise Scotland's braveheart, Ross King, sailed into next week. Sadly, Tom Skinner did find himself the bottom two - and left the contest alongside partner Amy Dowden so Motsi was spared the casting vote.
In other news, Digital Spy caught up exclusively with Neighbours star Stefan Dennis, 66, on the Red Carpet of the Inside Soap Awards, last Monday night, where Stefan (who has played the ruthless and cunning Paul Robinson for over three decades) admitted he has every intention of taking the competition very seriously and hopes to still be dancing in the UK by Christmas.
'I'm not drinking and it's practice, pratice, practice,' he told us as he picked up the award for 'best day time star'. 'I'm delighted to be on the show.'
Talking of the end of Neighbours, he added: 'Who knows, another network might pick it up.'
Sarah Ellis, the editor of Inside Soap is a particular fan of the drama. So much so, she once flew to Australian just to play an extra in the bar!

'It was the highlight of my career,' she laughed. 'When I was a little girl, all I wanted to do was be in Neighbours.'
Stephan's dance partner, a glowing Dianne Buswell, 36, also Australian born from Perth, admitted she was expecting her first baby - a boy - with Joe Sugg, a YouTuber, who she first met in 2018, when he partnered her.
After the show finished the couple realised they 'missed each other' so much so that love blossomed. Then just weeks ago, they took to social media to announce the birth of their baby boy due in early 2026 to the song track of 'tiny dancer' Aww.
Well, we can't wait to see who go out next week- and how far Mr Neighbours himself can get. Come on Jason Donovan, we think a bit of Aussie support wouldn't go astray for this particular contestant...
And good luck Ross. You're through to Movie Week...
