ITV has released a new look at Jodie Whittaker and Suranne Jones in the upcoming heist drama Frauds.
Doctor Who actor Whittaker and Vigil star Jones play "complex" duo Sam and Bert, who reconnect in Spain after a decade apart due to Bert's incarceration. As she is released on compassionate grounds, the pair's "intertwined" past resurfaces.
Despite living a low-key life in the meantime, Sam is lured by Bert into a multi-million-pound heist. Can they pull it off, or will their toxic friendship — and Bert's propensity for treachery — cause their plan to go up in flames?
Ahead of its release later this year, ITV has unveiled the first images for the drama, with the photos showcasing Whittaker and Jones as their respective characters plot a lucrative heist for the ages.

Suranne, who co-created the show alongside Anne-Marie O'Connor, said: "Working on Frauds with Anne-Marie [O'Connor] and Monumental for the last two years has been a wild ride.

"We took the idea of toxic female friendship and turned it on its head to give the heist genre an emotional heartbeat. I have always wanted to work with Jodie, and now I am. I hope you love Bert and Sam and all they get up to as much as we do."
"We are delighted to be working with Suranne, Anne-Marie and the brilliant team at Monumental on their unique take on a heist show," Senior Drama Commissioning Editor Helen Ziegler added.

"At its heart, this is a story of a complex [and] surprising friendship, which asks if Sam and Bert can pull together for one last job or whether the past will derail them. Suranne and Jodie are two incredible actors and it'll be thrilling to see what they bring to the central characters."
In addition to Whittaker and Jones, the cast for the six-part series includes Horacio Colomé, Christian Cooke, Talisa Garcia and Lee Boardman, with O'Connor penning the screenplays and Giulia Gandini on directing duties.
Frauds will air on ITV1 and stream on ITVX later this year.
