Brassic, the Sky comedy starring Michelle Keegan, has been confirmed to be ending with season seven.
In an update for fans, Sky revealed that production has officially commenced on the seventh series of its successful original comedy, while also announcing that it would act as the final farewell for the award-winning show.
Brassic's co-creator and writer Danny Brocklehurst said of the news: "When Joe Gilgun and I sat down to create Brassic, we couldn't have imagined, in our wildest dreams, that we would do seven series and gather such a loyal and loving fan base.

"It's been a complete joy to create this eccentric world, but all good things must come to an end, and we want to stop while we are still riding high," he added. "Maybe they can finally give us that BAFTA!"
Meanwhile a spokesperson for Sky commented: "Since Brassic arrived on our screens in 2019, it has become Sky's most successful comedy ever. Fans very quickly became attached to this dynamic group of friends, as they found unconventional ways to win at life in northern suburbia.

The core cast returning for the final season include Joe Gilgun (also co-creator of the series), Michelle Keegan, Ryan Sampson, Aaron Heffernan, Joanna Higson, Parth Thakerar and Steve Evets.
It's been promised that Brassic will go out with a bang, and that fans of the show can expect "one last whirlwind round of escapades, raucous adventure, and mischief from Vinnie and co."
Brassic season 7 will launch exclusively on Sky and streaming service NOW later in 2025.
