Oppenheimer's Cillian Murphy has reunited with his Peaky Blinders co-star Sam Neill following his Oscars win.

The Jurassic Park actor shared a photo with the latest Best Actor winner from the morning after the big ceremony on Instagram. The snap showed the two enjoying a drink in the company of an Oscar statue.

"OSCAR! Here’s me pal #CillianMurphy the next day with the Gold Fella, and me," Neill wrote.

"I could not be more thrilled, as you see. So well deserved. We had a great catch up. And a Bloody Mary. Or two. What an actor, what a performance and what a movie #Oppenheimer #oscars #peakyblinders," he added.

Neill played Inspector (later Major) Chester Campbell in Peaky Blinders, serving as the main antagonist for the first two seasons. He eventually met his end at the hands of Polly Gray while on the phone to Winston Churchill.
