Mimi Choi's make-up art is as spectacular as it is terrifying, as she specialises in illusion make-up like 3D snake lip art and gorier fare like this:

And, just in time for Halloween, she's debuted one of her most mind-blowing looks yet: a faceless void.

Did anyone else just jump back a bit from the screen? Choi's bizarrely beautiful look might seem like something ripped from an internet tall tale, but in actuality, it's all done with make-up. And yes, that's her face under there:

While you might just think she's taking inspiration from Halloween weirdness and horrors in general, she actually had a specific reference: Salvador Dalí's sculpture Surrealist Newton. (Like Sir Isaac, given the apple.)
