The Beats Solo 3 Wireless are some of our favourite headphones of the year. With a selection of iPhone 7 echoing colour schemes, however, they're lacking some of the classic Beats brashness we've come to know and love.

Well, until now that is.

Seemingly answering our prayers – when we reviewed the brilliant Beats Solo3 Wireless headphones, we noted some bright colour schemes were missing – Apple has just announced a new Product Red pair of cans. Huzzah.

So, what sets these charity-friendly headphones apart? Well, they've been handed a vibrant citrus red hue and, well, actually, that's it.

That's all that matters though, because the foundations here are great. As well as being the best sounding Beats to date, the Beats Solo 3 Wireless boast a simply unbeatable battery life.

Capable of pumping out tunes for more than 40 hours between charges (yes, 40, really), the comfortable on-ear cans can add an impressive 3 hours of playback after just 5 minutes connected to the mains. Nice.

It's not just the battery savvy headphones that have been given a holiday-inspired red makeover, either. Joining its on-ear sibling, the compact, portable Beats Pill+ Bluetooth speaker has also taken on a tomato-inspired finish.

Capable of pumping out room-filling sounds, the Pill+ boasts a 12-hour battery life and features a selection of top-mounted physical controls for when your Bluetooth-synced smartphone is just out of reach.

While the red Beats Solo 3 Wireless headphones will set wannabe owners back £249.95, the newly hued Beats Pill+ will hit you for just £189.95.
