LEGO has announced the release of a new Mario Kart set – just in time for Mario Day (March 10).
The detailed new set has 1,972 pieces and allows fans to build Mario in his Standard Kart. It features a posable Mario, with movable head and arms, as well as a stand that allows you to showcase the kart from different angles. It's designed for both LEGO enthusiasts and newer fans.
The set, which is currently available for pre-order, retails at £139.99 (or $169.99) and will be officially zooming into stores from May 15, 2025.

This is far from the first time Nintendo and LEGO have joined forces.
In 2020, the two brands first partnered to develop and release interactive Super Mario-themed build kits, with the first LEGO Mario Kart sets under the new partnership launching last year.
