LEGO and Formula 1 have unveiled the first new sets commissioned as part of their new multi-year partnership.

The two organisations came together for an exclusive launch at the Las Vegas Grand Prix to share details of several new sets, which will be released to coincide with the sport's 75th anniversary next year.

All 10 teams are featured across the new sets which span the LEGO Duplo, LEGO City and LEGO Speed Champions ranges.

There's a LEGO Technic Ferrari on the way at last, too – as well as a LEGO Icons set celebrating a '90s fan favourite car and driver.

It'll cost £199.99 and is available to order pre-order now in the UK (however, pre-orders are limited to 3 items – which is still one more car than you'd have in a real F1 team).

The 1,361-piece model has functional DRS (in all weather conditions), a tiny LEGO V6 engine "with spinning MGU-H" and a two-speed gearbox.

LEGO Speed Champions new Formula 1 sets

Fans of the Speed Champions range will be pleased to learn that all 10 teams' 2024 cars are represented with the new line, which will be available to purchase from March 1, 2025, and are available to pre-order in the UK now.

Each car is priced at £22.99, and again, there's a limit of three items per pre-order.

This Red Bull shown above is an example of what each of the Speed Champions sets looks like. All have a similar number of pieces – between 242 and 275, depending on the set – and they come with a tiny driver minifigure in team kit (you can place them in the car by lifting up the halo section).

The replica Pirelli tyres vary by model – for example, this Red Bull is on a soft tyre strategy (or is clearly going for that fastest-lap point at the end of the race).

The Williams car box photo has hard tyres, and artwork for the Alpine, Aston Martin and Ferrari Speed Champions sets shows them with the yellow medium tyres.

All the Speed Champions F1 2024 sets measure 20cm in length, 7cm in width and 4cm in height when fully assembled.

Nigel Mansell is one of Formula 1's originals – and the 1992 world champion is getting a LEGO Icons set dedicated to his title-winning season.

Our Nige's iconic 'Red 5' Williams FW14B is commemorated in the latest motor-racing LEGO Icons set, which follows on from the Ayrton Senna 1988 McLaren released earlier this year.

LEGO City new Formula 1 sets

The popular LEGO City range is expanding with six new Formula 1-themed items.
