There's no denying that all of us at Inside Soap were left gobsmacked when Neighbours' Holly Hoyland and Andrew Rodwell locked lips by Lassiters On Tap.
Since then, Holly and Andrew have embarked on a risky affair, which could soon be exposed if Wendy susses out Aaron's hush-hush conversation with the pair next week.
But regardless of Holly's dubious morals, we've loved the juicy drama that she's stirred up in Erinsborough over the last year – so much so that star Lucinda Armstrong Hall has won a nod for Best Daytime Star at the Inside Soap Awards 2025!
With that in mind, we sat down with Lucinda to chat about her nomination and all things Holly…
Hi, Lucinda! What was your reaction when Holly's relationship with Andrew was pitched?
"I was pretty shocked, because I just couldn’t picture it – that’s her best friend’s dad! It was so scandalous, and I definitely knew it would be a controversial storyline."

Does Holly have genuine feelings for Andrew, do you think?
"Definitely. She’s not made the best relationship choices, but with Andrew she feels she’s finally making a positive change, choosing someone who’s a good person. Obviously the circumstances are not great with him being married to Wendy, though…"
So is Holly taking after her mum Izzy by bedding a married man?
"It does bear a strong resemblance to Karl and Izzy’s affair, doesn’t it? So many times in the past, Holly has been worried that she’s too much like her mum, but this time she’s acting like her dad, too. She’s tried so hard not to make the same mistakes as her parents, now here she is in the exact same situation as they were."
Can you tease what’s to come between now and the end of the show?
"One of my favourite scenes I’ve filmed actually happens towards the end of the show, but I can’t say much more than that. People come back and we get to see some old faces, and it’s nice to have the Erinsborough community around us all."
