Karl is left in a comatose state after being injected by Darcy, which causes chaos and confusion over what's happened. He's admitted to hospital, where Remi voices the theory that he could have suffered a stroke. Susan and Holly are terrified as they wonder whether Karl will survive.
Darcy repeats his recent trick by "finding" opioids in Karl's bag again. Everyone assumes that Karl's stroke was caused by his addiction.
Meanwhile, Wendy is in a low mood but Nicolette gives her some tough love. Just as Wendy looks set to turn things around, Andrew discovers that Wendy has been making enquiries in Stony Point. She's forced to admit that she's been looking for his family and she managed to find them.
Elsewhere, Paul decides to keep a closer eye on Darcy after Karl's health scare. He warns Susan that Karl didn't trust Darcy before this incident, but Susan brushes off Karl's previous comments as paranoia. Although Paul appears to accept this, he genuinely believes Karl is right and decides to keep watching the situation closely.
