Jane has a meeting coming up at the school to discuss the matter of her suspension and her nerves are high, knowing that if she loses her job for dating one of her staff, it'll be nigh on impossible to get another principal role elsewhere.
Clint is also still under suspicion for stealing the missing cleaning supplies, which only makes it harder for Jane to justify her decision to date him. Nicolette points out that Jane still has a day to find something which might clear Clint's name.
Byron suggests that her time would be better spent preparing what she wants to say in the meeting, but Jane becomes fixed on the idea of clearing Clint, fiercely protective of him and sure he's been falsely accused.
