As Aaron falls unconscious in the spa, Trevor enters the pool area and starts to bark. Andrew comes to investigate and manages to pull Aaron from the water just in the nick of time.
Recovering in hospital, Aaron is troubled by the fact that he can't remember much of the evening before, even though he didn't drink very much. He's aghast when Andrew suggests his drink may have been drugged.
Holly and Max are rocked to the core when they hear what's happened. Max assumes this means the underworld family from Brisbane has found where he's living and that the tainted drink was meant for him.

Scared, and unsure what to do next, Max divulges the whole story of what happened to Andrew. Having been suspicious of Max's behaviour ever since he arrived, all the pieces fall into place for Andrew, who agrees to keep Max's secret because he doesn't want to be the reason Carter and his family have proof as to Max's guilt. But Andrew issues Max a firm warning – don't go playing vigilante again.
Meanwhile, Remi demands to know how long Taye is staying, but he fires back that he doesn't owe her an itinerary. They're locked in an argument when their father Ken arrives unexpectedly to take Taye home to Apollo Bay.
Taye insists he's staying in Erinsborough, and Remi is taken aback when Taye confesses that he admires the life Remi has made for herself, and he wants to be a part of it. She wonders why he's never told her this before, and Taye says it's because Remi's always made it clear she doesn't want anything to do with him.
Remi argues this isn't true… and suddenly it's revealed that Ken has been the one who has been keeping them apart over the years. After an argument, Taye and Remi decide to give living together a go.
Elsewhere, Jane and Clint are both mortified when a condom is discovered in the unit at Eirini Rising they've been using for sex. As the residents try to figure out who's the culprit, Jane insists they find a new meeting place.
Also today, Holly's certain she’s a shoo-in for the new job at the Piano Bar at Lassiters… but there's a surprise in store for her… Taye gets the job.
