Sadie insists that she's with Byron, and only loves Byron, so Max has seriously crossed a line. Max prepares himself to be blasted by Byron for his actions, but when he realises Sadie hasn't informed him of their conversation, he begins to suspect her feelings might be reciprocated.
Sadie denies him again, claiming the only reason she didn't tell Byron was because she doesn't want to cause chaos in their household. She tells Max that she wants him to forget all about their interaction, but encouraged by her vehement denial, Max has no intention of forgetting anything.
Meanwhile, leaving Leo completely out of the loop, Krista embarks on her search for Sebastian with Byron. Their only lead is Byron's sighting of Sebastian with a female drug dealer sporting a distinctive neck tattoo.

Eventually, they discover the dealer's name is Jordan Masciulli, but despite all their best efforts, Jordan remains tight-lipped on Sebastian's whereabouts. Krista feels they've reached a dead-end, but tipped-off by Jordan, Sebastian reaches out to Krista.
He assures her that he's alive and well, but for that to remain the case, he needs $35,000. Krista is prepared to pay straight away, but Leo urges caution. He knows Krista is angry with him, and he's deeply sorry for sending Sebastian packing in the first place, but before she pays that amount of money, she should try to gather some more information.
Krista initially heeds Leo's warning, but when Sadie casually reminds her that it's her friend, and her money, and she can do whatever she wants, Krista decides to follow her first instinct and send Sebastian the money.
Elsewhere, it's Nell's sweet sixteenth birthday and for once, everything seems to be perfect. She's back in Ramsay Street living with Terese and right across the road from her boyfriend. Her dad and Terese seem to finally be getting along, and everyone's coming together to celebrate her birthday with a big impromptu party.
Nell has also spent the day reflecting on her mother Sonya and her altruistic nature, so in a spirit of gratitude, and a desire to follow in her mother's footsteps, Nell publicly announces she'd like to become more actively involved in the Sonya Rebecchi Foundation.
Toadie couldn't be prouder of his daughter, but when he goes to call the Foundation manager to put Nell's request in motion, he learns that the local Council won't be renewing the Foundation's lease for their office at the Community Centre, and if they don't find somewhere new to go as soon as possible, the Foundation will have to close its doors.
