After being caught with a bottle of wine, Terese lies to Nell that she has been thinking about drinking but hasn't yet acted on it. She presses Nell into keeping her secret in exchange for not telling Toadie that Nell came to Erinsborough without permission.
Nell accepts the deal, but later visits JJ at home to ask him to keep an eye on Terese, clearly still worried about her.
A concerned Susan pays Terese a visit to check on her welfare. Terese arouses Susan's suspicions when she almost slips up with her lie that she was unwell, but tries to placate her by agreeing to go to Boylesque together.

But the next morning, when Terese overhears Susan tell Karl that a bottle from Moira's wine delivery went missing from Eirini Rising, her guilt surges.
Meanwhile, when JJ defends Felix in Harold's, Remi suggests to Cara that JJ will one day want to get to know his biological father and suggests they change their approach when it comes to Felix. When Cara is reluctant, Remi doesn't press, telling her to focus on her fertility test that evening.
Later that night, Cara agrees to give Felix a chance, going along with Remi's idea that she should get used to being in Felix's company – starting with breakfast at The Tram the next day. Things initially go well, until they witness Karl accusing a shocked Felix of theft.
Elsewhere, when Felix helps Holly with breathing exercises for her panic attacks, Karl catches them together and seems concerned. But Holly tells Karl that things are going well with Felix, reassuring him.
Later that night, Holly suffers another panic attack and visits Felix at The Tram. He successfully helps calm her, pressing her to tell Karl about her issues. Holly remains reluctant but tells Felix she now believes he is a changed person.
The next morning, when JJ approaches Felix in Harold's to thank him for not telling anyone he skipped school to be with Nell, it seems like their relationship is making progress too. But Felix's world is rocked when Karl discovers money has gone missing from The Tram and accuses Felix of taking it.
Also today, Dex reveals to his family that he's decided to do the programming course, and his mums appear to be excited. But when he overhears them talking about their money worries, he begins to fear he's becoming a burden to his family.
