Neighbours spoilers follow from Thursday's episode (October 26), which is streaming now on Amazon Freevee.
Neighbours has addressed Mike Young's ongoing absence from Ramsay Street in Hollywood star Guy Pearce's latest scenes.
Mike was last seen in-person on the show at the start of this month, as he decided to continue his trip in the UK while his fiancée Jane Harris returned home to Erinsborough.
The classic character is currently featuring as a guest in Neighbours' new season, continuing on from his reunion with Jane in the heartwarming 2022 finale episode.
In Thursday's episode, Mike appeared on video call for a catch-up with Jane and his daughter Sam.

Mike caught Jane at a bad time, as she'd just received the news that Erinsborough High would definitely close – paving the way for Terese Willis to launch her new retirement village.
Jane was surprised as Mike revealed that he'd been offered a job as a tour guide in the UK, which would keep him overseas for another three or four months.
Mike confirmed that he'd already turned down the opportunity, wanting to get back to Jane as soon as possible.
Jane had other ideas, encouraging Mike to accept the job while she focuses on winding down Erinsborough High in its final months.

She said: "It would only be for three or four months, and maybe Sam and I could join you for Christmas. We could stay on until the job's finished and maybe see some of your great-granddad's old haunts and then all come home together."
With Mike in agreement, the couple acknowledged how much they'd miss each other for the next few months.
As Guy is unlikely to feature regularly in Neighbours, it currently remains unclear how his absence will continue to be explained beyond this.
Neighbours releases new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays for free on Amazon Freevee in the UK and US. In Australia, the show airs from Mondays to Thursdays at 4pm on Channel 10, with a 6.30pm repeat screening on 10 Peach.
