Neighbours spoilers follow for UK-pace episodes on Channel 5.
Neighbours fans will see Elly Conway face an upsetting encounter on the eve of her sentencing hearing next week.
Elly (Jodi Anasta) is still in big trouble over suspicions that she was responsible for the shock death of Finn Kelly.
Upcoming episodes see Elly decide to plead guilty to voluntary manslaughter following advice from her lawyer Toadie Rebecchi (Ryan Moloney).
Although Elly is innocent, accepting some responsibility will mean that she stands a much better chance of avoiding a prison sentence.

Just before her all-important hearing, Elly has a final meeting with Toadie to discuss the finer details of her defence.
Elly has a number of character references to rely on, but one written by Chloe (April Rose Pengilly) a while ago will have to be altered as it protests her innocence.
Chloe is wrong-footed when Elly and Toadie approach her over this discrepancy, explaining that Elly's decision to plead guilty means the written statement will need to be changed.
Even though Chloe disagrees with Elly's choice to plead guilty to something she didn't do, she agrees to make the changes to her character reference as a show of support.

Later on, Chloe lets her real feelings slip in a private conversation with her husband Pierce Greyson (Tim Robards).
Chloe admits that she's baffled by Elly's plea and now wonders whether there's a possibility she is guilty after all.
Unfortunately, Chloe's surprising comment comes just as Elly pops back for another visit – and she hears everything.
Will Elly be able to forgive her best friend for doubting her when she needs her support the most? And how will a mortified Chloe make amends?
