Neighbours star Jodi Anasta is taking a break from the show.
The Elly Conway actress will be away from set for three weeks as she recovers from exhaustion, Anasta's manager confirmed to the Herald Sun.
"She's just having a rest," he said. "She's exhausted, so she's taking three weeks off. She's living between two cities, she's also a single mum, and there are challenges that come with it.
"It's the same as anyone in the workplace. They get a break if they need it."
"Jodi is taking some time out to rest. We look forward to having her back out on set soon," a spokesperson for Network 10 added.
Anasta has played Elly since 2016 and has been at the centre of a major storyline as she hid the truth about her baby from her husband Mark Brennan.

Recently, Elly came clean with Mark (Scott McGregor), telling him that he's not the father of the baby.
"I loved doing those scenes with Scott," Anasta told Digital Spy last month.
"There was one scene where Elly is running down Ramsay Street, crying and chasing Mark, and he gets quite aggressive. It was amazing to shoot that, but I just loved that it came to that point where Elly could finally own what she'd done and what she'd become."
Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).
