Neighbours star Tim Kano has teased a heroic move from Leo Tanaka as the show's dramatic siege storyline continues.
Monday's episode of the Aussie soap (January 14) ended with a huge cliffhanger, as Raymond Renshaw pulled out a gun at Harold's Cafe and threatened to take hostages.
Viewers have already seen Raymond's brother Ivan shoot Terese Willis at The Waterhole, leaving her fighting for her life.
When the action continues tomorrow, Leo selflessly offers himself up as a hostage in the hope that Raymond will let the others go. Could this provide an opportunity for Leo to distract Raymond while the police work to rescue the hostages?
Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy, Tim explained: "Leo does this because of the guilt he feels for bringing these people to town in the first place. The Renshaws are from his past, so that's what forces him to take matters upon himself and take the law into his own hands.
"Leo knows that Terese has been shot and that other people are now at the mercy of this gunman – who's his ex-boss, Raymond. That's what prompts Leo to get in there and take control of the situation. He wants to put himself between the gun and innocent bystanders.

"That could also stall things. Leo has a plan in place, and despite his irrational behaviour, it could lead to solving the situation and helping to clear up the mess that he's started in the first place.
"Leo is feeling absolutely beside himself, especially because Terese stepped in and took a bullet for him at The Waterhole. She's the woman he's in love with, and he's also feeling horrible for Piper and everyone else who's involved.
"Leo's main goal now is to clear up the situation, do whatever it takes to remedy it and make sure nobody gets hurt."
Neighbours' siege drama is one of the first major event plots to air on the show since it was upgraded to a PG rating in Australia, allowing it to explore darker subject matters.
We've also recently seen the long-running drama push the boundaries with evil Alice Wells, who tried to murder Sonya Rebecchi in disturbing scenes.
Tim continued: "The storyline was really intense, but lots of fun. It was really nice to have some high-paced action. Because there was so much going on, we had extra crews and cameras to capture different angles.
"It was really exciting for the whole cast to be part of and really good to shoot.
"The PG rating played a big part in us being able to push the boundaries. It was really integral in terms of what we could do with the siege. We included guns in the shots and it meant we could increase the levels of violence and drama with the hostage situation. It's definitely made juicy storylines like that possible to explore.
"It's also a great way to ring in the New Year with some of the cliffhangers we have this week."
Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.
