Bree hopes to relax after attending the tribunal at the hospital, but Remi senses that she's still dodging responsibility for her wrongdoing. He urges her to own up to her mistake and make things right.
Bree appears to relent by seeking out Marilyn, who hopes to receive an apology and hear the truth about what happened to Alf. Much to Marilyn's horror, though, Bree belittles her and accuses her of overreacting to the incident. Remi witnesses the tail end of the conversation and realises that it didn't go well.
Remi also finds Bree talking to Levi, but he can tell that she's doing it for show just so that he can see they've had the conversation.
What to Read Next
Back at home, Remi calls out Bree for avoiding responsibility over her actions and painting herself as the victim. Bree responds by threatening to end things with Remi if he sees her as such a problem.
Meanwhile, Perri is given a box that was found at Carl's home. He finds a collection of sentimental items, including drawings that he did as a child and a photo of him and his mother when he was a baby. Perri shows the items to Tane, reflecting on how Carl must have loved him once.
