Justin and Leah agree to meet Claudia face-to-face at the Surf Club at night for their chat. Claudia arrives, but her walls are up and she demands to know what Justin hopes to achieve with this conversation.
Justin's gentle mannerisms prove to be effective. He apologises sincerely for what happened to her and offers to buy her dinner at Salt so they can work out a solution that both parties are happy with. Claudia agrees.
Leah watches nervously from the sidelines as Justin lays his offer out on the table. He tells Claudia he'll service every part of her car free of charge. Claudia agrees without hesitation and Justin breathes a sigh of relief.

However, Bree, who has stopped by at Salt after her shift, catches sight of Claudia and recognises her from when she came into hospital after the accident. She thinks something is not quite right.
Bree hurries back to hospital and checks Claudia's file. Suspicious, she calls Claudia in the next morning for another CT scan. Claudia is furious at the prospect of there being more complications with her health and phones Justin. She threatens to sue him for everything he's got if things take a turn for the worse.
Meanwhile, Levi and Eden settle down in the motel with Abigail, ready to support their little sister as she goes through the agony of withdrawal. Unfortunately, Eden witnesses Levi lying to Mackenzie over the phone as to his whereabouts – a sore spot given how recently the siblings had made up after Levi's affair. Eden accuses Levi of being a natural liar and the two clash. However, Abigail's worsening condition forces them to put their differences aside and the two reconcile.
