Home and Away spoilers follow for UK viewers.
Home and Away's Rose Delaney comes face-to-face with her biological father Samuel Edwards on UK screens next week.
Bert La Bonté has been cast in the role of Samuel, who's joining the cast of the Summer Bay soap for a guest stint.
In next week's episodes on Channel 5, Rose can't stop thinking about Samuel after doing some detective work and figuring out that he's her father.
Rose's boyfriend Mali Hudson encourages her to act rather than getting lost in thought, as she clearly can't go on like this.

Later, Rose reports back to Mali by revealing that she has written a letter to Samuel. She hopes that this will make things less awkward, as Samuel can just ignore the note if he doesn't want to see her.
Rose is nervous as she drops off the letter at Samuel's before heading off again. It clearly makes an immediate impact, as Rose receives a phone call from Samuel shortly afterwards.
Samuel confirms to Rose that he'd like them to meet that day. Although surprised by the short notice, Rose agrees to go ahead with the idea.
Mali offers to support Rose by joining her at the meeting, but she insists that she must do it alone.

Once Rose is face-to-face with Samuel at his house, she asks some direct questions about why he wasn't part of her life.
Samuel explains that he had no idea Rose's mum Yvette was pregnant and would have supported her if she'd told him at the time.
In a touching moment, Samuel produces a family bible and encourages Rose to add her name to the list of generations which are documented inside.
Samuel is keen to make up for lost time by welcoming Rose into the family, but will she want to see him again?
