Home and Away's Nikau Parata and Bella Nixon finally come face-to-face again on UK screens next week.
Nikau gets a chance to tell Bella why he dumped her when she returns home for a short visit.
The Summer Bay lifeguard ended his relationship with Bella last year, wanting to keep her safe as the Parata family and their loved ones were being threatened by Tex Wheeler's biker gang.

As Nikau had predicted, Bella opted to stay in New York following the breakdown of their relationship, which kept her out of the danger zone.

Although Nikau later considered telling his ex the truth once the gang had been dealt with, Dean Thompson convinced him that Bella was happy in the US and deserved a chance to move on.
In next week's episodes on Channel 5, Courtney Miller reprises the role of Bella for a guest stint.
Bella arrives unexpectedly at the Astoni farmhouse, telling Dean Thompson and Ziggy Astoni that she's on a break from work after finishing her exhibition.

Although Bella has further commitments in New York, she wanted to make the most of her break by meeting baby Izzy for the first time.
Dean starts asking questions about Nikau, but Bella claims that she doesn't care whether she sees him or not.
When Bella does cross paths with Nikau, they sit down for a brief chat.
Bella leaves her guard up by reminding Nikau that he made it clear what he wanted and she respects his decision. She adds that her life is amazing now and that wouldn't be the case if they were still together.

Nikau is devastated by Bella's rejection and wishes he could have a chance to explain everything.
Dean later cuts through Bella's stern stance and finds out that she's still upset over Nikau's decision to dump her.
The board shop owner challenges Bella by telling her that she clearly didn't travel all this way to avoid getting the answers that she needs from Nikau.
When Bella seeks out Nikau, he finally explains the danger that his family were in from the biker gang and how he couldn't risk her returning from New York.

Bella remains upset that Nikau didn't call her once it was safe, as she would have been willing to come back for him.
Nikau hopes to work things out with Bella, but she stands firm by insisting that she has moved on with her life.
As the pair decide to spend time together as friends instead, will they fall back into a familiar dynamic?
