Home and Away's Theo and Kirby risk a new rift in Lyrik

Theo and Kirby have been keeping their relationship a secret from their other bandmates in Home and Away. But even though their bandmates know and have said they won't stand in their way, more trouble for the band appears to be on the horizon.

The loved-up pair are in the honeymoon stage of their romance, but the band is starting to suffer as a result – and neither of them did anywhere near as much work on the band's PR campaign as they should have done.

But as Justin points out, Theo is already the best person for the task, and his social media experience should be the exact thing that they draw on to help boost Lyrik's profile.

Theo has the idea of releasing a performance online, but when Remi and Eden don't answer their phones, he and Kirby decide to crack on anyway and the pair perform a song together – with their sizzling chemistry on full display.

While Kirby reassures Theo that Remi and Eden will not be put offside by the duet going out on the channel due to how much reach they have online, that confidence soon turns out to be, somewhat unsurprisingly, misguided.

The video soon goes viral and before they know it, a music journalist gets in touch to arrange an interview.

As Theo and Kirby yet again can't get hold of Remi and Eden, they press on with the interview without them. But despite their insistence that Lyrik is a four-piece band, it's clear that the interviewer is more interested in the two of them and their romance.

When Remi and Eden find out, they're fuming at being left out, but they soon change their tune when they realise how many people will hear about them, and acknowledge not picking up their phones to take up the opportunity.

While it seems like crisis has been averted, it all goes wrong again when the interview goes live and it is all about Theo and Kirby, excluding the rest of the band.

Seething once again, the pair are even more irritated when they see the duet music video that Kirby and Theo put out, and they start to think that Lyrik as they know it could be no more.

Is this the end of the line for the band?
