Home and Away spoilers follow for UK viewers
Marilyn makes a bit of an error in Home and Away scenes set to air on Channel 5 next week when her plan to help Roo only ends up making her feel worse.
Roo has been trying to find a new direction in life and recently came to the decision that she should go back to tutoring to help her feel fulfilled.
She advertises her tutoring services on a poster at the Diner and hopes that it will not be long before someone tears off a tab with her number on it and gives her a call.

And she soon notices that someone has indeed taken a tab, but her excitement soon comes to an end when nobody ends up calling her for her services.

Marilyn thinks that she knows just what to do in order to boost Roo's spirits, but her idea to take another tab off to give her hope only ends up making Roo feel more anxious about the whole thing.
Spotting that more tabs have been removed yet still nobody has reached out, Roo feels like the whole thing was doomed to fail from the start.
Marilyn tries her best to persuade her that the more tabs that are taken, the better she will look to people who may be interested, but it does little to make Roo feel any better.

But Marilyn's plan is soon busted by Alf who catches her tearing off another tab, and he makes it clear that he is not pleased with her for giving Roo hope of work that may never come to pass.
Alf's words do the trick and Marilyn realises that she has done the wrong thing – promising that she will tell Roo the truth.
But how will Roo react if and when Marilyn spills the beans, and will she decide to put her tutoring dream behind her?
Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.45pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR. First-look screenings air at 6.30pm on 5STAR and the show also streams on My5.
