Just a week after Hollyoaks star Jamie Lomas was banned from driving for six months, it looks like he's back on the roads again.

Jamie, who plays Warren Fox in the soap, received a court summons when he hit another car in Manchester back in September of last year but was initially given a ban and six points on his license as a result of failing to appear in court.

At the time, a spokesman for Lomas told Digital Spy: "He had been staying at another address for some time. If he had known about this he would have been there in person.

"He has immediately contacted his insurance company and Manchester Magistrates' Court to resolve this as soon as possible."

And, well, it seems that the issue has indeed now been resolved, as Lomas is back on the roads, with a spokeswoman telling The Sun that "the ban has been lifted".

"The case is still ongoing but he's allowed to drive," the statement continued.

During Jamie's time on Hollyoaks, Warren 'died' in 2009 before returning from the dead a year later in 2010.

Lomas later left the show in 2011, after his character was sent to prison. However he returned to our screens yet again in 2016, with a shower scene that payed homage to Dallas, after Digital Spy exclusively revealed that he was involved in talks with producers to return to the show.

Since then, Lomas has been involved in plenty of dramatic storylines, including the tragic scenes where Maxine (Nikki Sanderson) and Warren lost their baby.

Hollyoaks airs weekdays at 6:30pm on Channel 4, with first-look episodes airing on E4 at 7pm.
