Hollyoaks spoilers follow for Wednesday's episode (24 June), which is available to watch on streaming service Channel 4 but hasn't yet aired on TV.
Hollyoaks reveals a huge development for Dodger Savage tonight, amid his love triangle with girlfriend Theresa McQueen and her cousin Cleo. The detective was considering taking an undercover mission in order to run away from his feelings for Cleo - but a surprise kiss changed everything.
In tonight's episode, Cleo is shocked to see Dodger playing happy families with Theresa, despite kissing her yesterday. Not only is Dodger being extra affectionate to his girlfriend, he also gives Cleo the cold shoulder.

Confused Cleo makes an excuse to call Dodger over to the hospital where he insists "what happened yesterday was a horrible mistake". When her attempts to convince him otherwise fail, she changes tact.
"You've cheated on Theresa once, you'll do it again. Maybe it'll be better for her, for all of us in fact, that you do take this undercover job and you do just disappear," she suggests, to which he replies: "Maybe you're right."

Later, Dodger meets up with his handler and confirms he has made a decision about going undercover. When Theresa struggles to get hold of him, it seems he has gone through with the job, but he returns with an even bigger surprise.
"I've done something. I know it might sound a bit reckless, come as a shock," he tells her, in front of a worried Cleo. "I've put a deposit down on a house."

Theresa is overjoyed as Dodger explains that he wants to "make a proper home" for their family. Meanwhile, dejected Cleo walks away from the happy couple, disappointed that he's chosen her cousin.
Later that night, Cleo apologises for telling Dodger to leave at the hospital, and he tells he almost took the undercover job but reconsidered at the last minute.
She asks him again if being with Theresa is what he really wants or if he'd rather be with her, and another kiss between the pair confirms the latter. Will they come clean about their feelings or continue to sneak around behind Theresa's back?
Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
