Tony Hutchinson extends an olive branch to his son Ant following a tense clash in Hollyoaks. Tony has been in pieces following the death of his wife Diane after she was diagnosed with terminal ovarian cancer.
The entire family is struggling to process their grief, including Ant and Ro.

In scenes set to air next week, Leela Lomax steps in to help a struggling Tony at The Dog after promising to be by his side following Diane's death.
Kathleen-Angel tells Ant that he can stay with the McQueens for a while if he needs to, while Ro confides in Tony.

Once he has calmed down from their confrontation, Tony sends Ant a voice note explaining that he wants to make amends.

A grateful Tony also offers to pay Leela for her help at The Dog.
“It’s been a hugely difficult time for the Hutchinsons,” says our Hollyoaks insider. “Since Diane’s death, everyone’s emotions have been on the surface, and it doesn’t take much to set off another argument.
“Next week, there’s a row between Tony and Ant, which ends in Tony telling his son to leave the house! With tensions higher than ever, can the Hutchinsons ever get back on track?”
Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
