Hollyoaks has ended two major feuds in the harrowing aftermath of Diane Hutchinson's death. In heartbreaking scenes that aired last Wednesday, Diane died after being diagnosed with terminal ovarian cancer in March.
Half-siblings Beth and Darren have been at odds over the car crash involving Charlie Dean, Frankie Osborne, Vicky Grant and the Keane family, arguing over who was really at fault.
Meanwhile, Kathleen-Angel has been cruel to her mum Theresa recently, since finding out that Theresa had been involved in sex work while she was living in Japan.

In tonight's episode, Ro, Ant and Dee Dee realised that their mum had passed away. Clinging to routine, a distant Tony took Eva to school.

At The Dog, the morning after Ste and Rex’s wedding, Leela found the Hutchinson teens spiralling with Tony absent, and she offered them support.
Meanwhile, distracting himself from recent events, Tony attempted to fix the broken oven at the Hutch without telling Ste what had happened.
After Ste received a text from Leela telling him that Diane had died, he talked to Tony, who could no longer contain his grief.
Tony broke down in Ste’s arms, finally confronting what had happened and saying out loud that Diane had gone.
Meanwhile, Beth offered an olive branch to Darren after seeing Diane being taken away in an ambulance and supported him through his grief.
"It's a shock, I know," Beth told Darren, who said: "I mean, what do you say to your best friend when his wife dies?"
Elsewhere, Theresa set out to make a homemade lasagna for the Hutchinsons at Kathleen-Angel’s request. Shaken by the events, Kathleen-Angel gave her mum a huge hug, grateful for what she still has.
Ste walked Tony home, where Darren was waiting to comfort him. Although grateful for the support, Tony told Ste and Darren that he had to face his children alone.
Dee Dee lashed out at Tony for not being there to support them, saying: "You just left us here. Watching them carry her out. It was awful."

When Ro arrived home with Eva, who Tony had forgotten to pick up from school, reality crashed in on them all.
An overwhelmed Tony broke down in front of his children, admitting he didn't know how to go on without their mum.
The teenagers told their dad they would help each other, with Dee Dee saying: "Dad. It's okay. We'll figure it out, won't we? Together."
Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
