Hollyoaks spoilers follow.

Dillon Ray and Ste Hay were finally caught out in tonight's Hollyoaks (8 December) after Ste's son Lucas made a horrifying discovery. Viewers know that Lucas has been exhibiting some worrying behaviour on the soap following his breakup with Dillon.

In recent weeks, Lucas has been trying to win back his ex-boyfriend after their relationship came to an end due to its tumultuous nature.

After Dillon walked in on Lucas beating up his dad, Dillon and Ste grew closer and ended up sleeping together.

Unaware that his ex has been getting close to his dad, Lucas has been trying to get Dillon's attention in a bid to rekindle their romance.

In tonight's episode, Frankie, Vicky and Dillon caught a hooded figure watching them in the park. After discovering that the mystery figure was Lucas, they took his phone and saw the continuous messages he had been sending to Dillon.

Following the disturbing discovery, Frankie and Vicky came to the conclusion that Lucas could be the one harassing Frankie, too. "None of this would've happened if you just loved me," Lucas said.

Scared at what Lucas is capable of, Dillon said he wanted to stop him by going to the police to report him for abusing his dad.

Ste pleaded with Dillon not to go to the police, as he was worried his son might get sent down. "If he gets in trouble, he could lash out even more," he said. "Or worse, he could hurt himself."

Dillon said he was worried that Lucas could end up hurting someone if his stalking escalated, with Ste grabbing Dillon to try and stop him.

During their heated discussion, Dillon fell over and cut his hand, and Dillon asked him what it meant for him now that Rex was back.

After learning that Ste could get charged for lying to the police, Dillon agreed to keep the abuse between them. "Listen, you might not care what happens to Lucas," Ste said. "But I know you care about me, don't you? So if you go to the police and tell them everything, they're going to know that I lied."

After realising that Lucas wasn't the person stalking her, Frankie apologised to him. Lucas also asked Vicky if Dillon was seeing someone else, saying: "It'll kill me."

Back at home, Ste cleaned Dillon’s wounds. Clearly drawn to each other, things got passionate between Ste and Dillon. The latter was unaware that he had accidentally dialled Lucas, who heard him with someone else.

Will Lucas uncover the truth about who Dillon was with?
