Hollyoaks has confirmed that Donny Clark will be unfaithful to his partner Misbah Maalik once again in upcoming scenes. Donny’s dreams of an idyllic family Christmas are shattered when, on Christmas Day, the sex worker he cheated with rocks up at their door!
Despite a very frosty atmosphere between him and Misbah, Donny is dead set on making this Christmas perfect, since it’s the first one that he’s spending with both of his daughters, Vicky and Gemma, together.
The detective’s mission to patch things up with Misbah is halted however, when Molly – the sex worker he recently spent the night with – won’t stop texting him.
"Donny has been through unimaginable horror, but he’s still made a huge mistake," says our Hollyoaks insider. "Now, his choices are catching up to him – and at Christmas no less.

On the big day, Donny is jumpy and goes into total panic mode when he hears a knock at the door. Luckily, it’s only Jack and Pearl spreading festive cheer – but Donny’s shifty demeanour alerts Gemma to his lies, and she coldly warns him never to cheat on Misbah again.
Relieved that his problem seems to have disappeared, Donny presents delighted Misbah with a beautiful bracelet – but just as things seem to be looking up for the couple, there’s another knock at the door…

"This time, it actually is Molly," reveals our source. "She bangs on the door and demands cash, leaving Misbah and the rest of the family baffled, and Donny utterly horrified.
"It’ll be a Christmas miracle if shame-faced Donny can worm his way out of this one – let’s just say that it doesn’t seem as though it’ll be a silent night in the Maalik house…"
As Donny’s family are faced with furious Molly, will the policeman manage to keep his secret under wraps? Or is he set for a lonely New Year?
These scenes will air on Monday, 29 December.
