Hollyoaks' 'Who shot Tony' storyline is set to take a dark turn next week, as Diane Hutchinson makes a shocking discovery and one character's behaviour gets worse.
This week has seen Ant insist that Darren Osborne is guilty of shooting his dad Tony. Ant went so far as to smash up Darren's taxi, which led Dodger Savage to discover a gun in the vehicle that matched the one police were looking for .
Frankie accused Ant of hiding something and promised to find out what it was, while Dee Dee made a phone call to a mysterious individual.
In scenes set to air next week, Diane and Ro confront Ant about the photo of him with the gun that he posted online (which she finds in the final episode of this week).

Ant gets defensive and lashes out, smashes a vase in the process and leaves Diane shocked.
He tells them he did what he felt like he needed to do for the good of the family, and Diane demands the passcode for his phone.
Later on, Ant's disturbing behaviour continues to escalate, and Dee Dee asks for help.

Diane looks through Ant's phone to find out why he is acting the way he is, and is horrified by what she finds.
If the soap really is building up to reveal that Ant shot Tony, it raises the question of just why the teenager would want to kill his own dad.
And if it is someone else, who could it be, and how is Ant connected to them?
Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
